Lisbon Interactive Airport

EDIGMA’s interactive solutions turned Lisbon Airport into a world reference in terms of passengers’ welfare.

Following the Living Airport strategy, ANA Aeroportos de Portugal equipped three Living Spot spaces at Lisbon Airport with interactive systems, turning the waiting period into a useful and delightful moment.

Children, adults or people with reduced mobility, all will be well received in these spaces of universal accessibility, which have all the necessary conditions to allow an easy access and intuitive interaction with the equipments.

At the Living Spot located in the departures restricted area (after security control), passengers will find two interactive tables, through which they can keep updated (news, weather and Facebook), explore different contents related to traveling (catalogs, brochures and websites), learn more about various tourist destinations (videos and images), or even spend some time playing fun games.
Another reason for highlight is the DISPLAX Pathfinder interactive directory. Finding the path and expected time until each gate, the quickest way to airport’s shops and services, viewing the news, information on schedules and useful contacts or sending comments are some of the features of this solution.
Finally, this space also includes a videowall displaying information and entertainment contents.

The Living Spot located in the departures public area (before check-in) is equipped with two interactive tables, an interactive directory and also two DISPLAX Crayon Wall, interactive solutions for children with educational games like drawing, recycling, sports and safety control at airports.

After security control, there is a third Living Spot. More than a mere crossing point, this space is equipped with a set of attractions that turn the passengers' experience into a pleasure, meeting their needs for information or entertainment.
Aiming to promote communication and interaction with passengers while they pass by, this space includes an interactive directory, and also a multitouch LCD with the multimedia application featured in the other Living Spots’ multitouch tables.
Both solutions are built-in a wood wall, ensuring the coherence with the decoration of the space.

With these three Living Spot, there is no doubt that ANA Aeroportos de Portugal will be able to achieve two of its main goals: adapt to the passengers’ needs, and liven up the Lisbon Airport!
