Skin Multitouch with 12 touch points

DISPLAX now offers a complete range from 2 to 12 touches in projected capacitive multitouch.

DISPLAX Interactive Systems released an enhanced 12 touch point version of its main product, Skin Multitouch.

DISPLAX Skin Multitouch is a transparent and flexible thinner-than-paper polymer foil that can be applied to non conductive surfaces, turning them into a multitouch surface, thus making possible, for example, to turn any large display into an iPad.

This new version is a result of continuous improvements on both the touch algorithm as well as the base firmware. These changes allow detecting 12 simultaneous inputs, doubling the current number of touches supported.

DISPLAX is already taking orders and expects to start shipping in about two weeks. The 12 touch point version will be available from 30’’ to 100’’, just like the 6 touch point version.
