Aveiro Museum interactive table

The Aveiro Museum interactive table allows visitors to explore the connection between textiles and religion in an engaging way.

Located in a majestic old convent, this museum has one of the richest collections of baroque sacred art in Portugal. Among its artifacts, there are paintings, sculptures, jewellery, ceramics, furniture, textiles and other works of art from the 14th to the 19th century.

In the permanent exhibition area, there is a DISPLAX Shuttle, an interactive table that gives an extra touch of innovation to this museum's cultural offering.

Through this table’s app, visitors can learn more about the religious textiles, by exploring texts and images that explain their meaning, shapes, materials, colors and manufacturing process. Other attractions of this app are the possibility of browsing through the museum’s collection of decorative textiles, drawing the religious textiles by using the fingers or answering to a quiz.
