NEED & MOTIVES

Meditel is the first privately owned telecomunications company in Morocco, and began operating in 2000

Telecomunications market in Morocco is at a stage of high growth rate, with increasing number of customers

Meditel management is working hard to gain leadership and to differentiate from rivals

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Meditel felt the need to provide a new and striking experience to people visiting the brand’s flagship store, in Casablanca, Morocco.

In this space, people will not only enjoy Meditel’s array of products and services but also spend entertaining and fun moments playing with all the solutions available. The goal was not to create a merely commercial space, but to make the store a social place.

DISPLAX partnered with international brand agency EURO RSCG to develop  this project. One of the crucial goals was to combine the brand’s values with state of the art interactive systems.

DISPLAX was responsible for developing custom made equipments, delivering non standard customized equipments and developing interactive multimedia contents for them, meeting the brand values and identity defined by EURO RSCG.

» Phone Hero – you have to touch the correct letter to write the word that is given, in a Guitar Hero like interface

» 3D object – in each face of the object there’s a different phone. You can play with the object and get to know more about the phone

» Backoffice contents management (update phones by newer models, for instance)

» Transparent control table with 4 different control hot spots, highlighted by laser

Motion sensor system that detects people’s presence and triggers interactive applications (latest mobile phones available, products and services)


CONTENTS

Phone Slider - allows the user to browse a set of features products with associated information.

Jeux de Memoire – this application invites the user to match pairs of cards that represent different cellular phones.
